“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.” Psalm 23:4
From our Bible text we can see that the Lord was the shepherd of King David in his days as affirmed by him. David saw the Lord as the shepherd of his life who saw him through in all his troubles during his life journey.
Even though, David encountered so many difficult moments in his lifetime that could have given him the opportunity to disbelieve the Love of God for him, he made up his mind to believe in the leading of the Lord.
There was an expectation that God has the best for him knowing that God was the one leading him as his shepherd. Looking at verse 4 of Ps.23, David walked through the valley of the shadow of deaths so many different times but always hoping that his Lord has the best in store for.
